RankWell Terms, Conditions & Privacy Policy
These Terms, Conditions, and Privacy Provisions ("Terms") govern participation in the RankWell recognition program ("Program"). By submitting a nomination or participating in the Program, you agree to theseTerms.
1. Program IndependenceRankWell is an independent recognition program and is not affiliated with any bar association, governmental authority, or regulatory body. Recognition does not constitute certification, licensure, or official endorsement.
2. EligibilityNominees must be licensed legal professionals in good standing or duly organized law firms authorized to practice law. RankWell reserves the right to verify professional standing and may disqualify nominees at its sole discretion.
3. Submission RepresentationsBy submitting materials, you represent that all information provided is accurate, complete, and authorized for disclosure. Submissions must not contain confidential or privileged client information. RankWell may request additional documentation for verification.
4. Evaluation & DiscretionAll nominations are evaluated under defined criteria through independent review. RankWell retains sole discretion over eligibility, category definitions, evaluation standards, selection decisions, and revocation determinations. Submission does not guarantee recognition.
5. Fees & Promotional SeparationThere is no fee required to be considered or selected. Evaluation decisions are independent of any optional promotional offerings.
6. Publicity ReleaseHonorees grant RankWell a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to publish their name, firm, biography, and recognition status in connection with Program announcements and materials. Recognition must be referenced accurately by year and category.
7. Release of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release RankWell, its officers, affiliates, reviewers, and representatives from all claims arising from participation in the Program, including claims related to evaluation outcomes, publication of recognition, reputational impact, or business loss.
8. Limitation of LiabilityRankWell shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from participation in or reliance upon recognition status.
9. IndemnificationParticipants agree to indemnify and hold harmless RankWell from claims arising out of inaccurate submissions, unauthorized disclosures, misuse of recognition designation, orviolation of applicable professional conduct rules.
10. RevocationRankWell reserves the right to revoke recognition in cases of material misrepresentation, ethical violations, disciplinary action, or conduct inconsistent with program standards.
11. Privacy PolicyInformation collected through nominations may include professional contact details, firm information, and supporting materials. Information is used for evaluation, verification, communication, and publication of recognition where applicable. RankWell does not sell personal information. Data may be shared with independent reviewers under confidentiality obligations. RankWell implements reasonable safeguards to protect submitted information.
12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)If you are a California resident, you have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act(CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, to:
• Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected;
• Request deletion of personal information, subject to lawful exceptions;
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (RankWell does not sell personal information);
• Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

13. ConfidentialityReviewer deliberations and internal scoring remain confidential. Participants are responsible for ensuring no privileged information is submitted.
14. Governing Law & VenueThese Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Insert State]. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located within that State, unless RankWell elects binding arbitration.
15. ModificationsRankWell reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms become effective upon publication.
16. Entire AgreementThese Terms constitute the entire agreement governing participation in the Program.
